Maths
Our Maths topic for
this week and next is money. This is a very exciting project with a lot of different
activities which the children are really enjoying.
A home learning idea
from Heinnemann Active Maths is:
Ask
parents and carers to tip the contents of their purse or wallet into a dish and
look at the coins and notes with their child. They can play with them, do
pretend shopping, put them in order, draw them. Emphasise that there is no
right or wrong thing to do – just explore and have fun.
Language
Our sounds
in Jolly Phonics this week are sh and oa. We have been identifying a list of words
which have these sounds in them. Maybe you can think of ones with you children
aswell?
Drama
Have
you been told about the Sun Wizard?? P1 Ladybirds have been very lucky to have Mr
Giles helping us this term for Drama.
